Getting your site ready
What your site
needs to be turn-ready
Suitable for both residential and commercial properties, and for outdoor installation. Here's what we need on site, and the two ways the motor can be fitted.
⬇ Standard Motor Mount
The motor sits offset 200mm from the turntable, positioned to give clearance for vehicle overhang — our standard configuration for most driveways.
- 200mm offset height, clear of vehicle overhang
- Rustproof aluminium & stainless steel housing
- Waterproof inverter as standard
- PMC control panel housed separately for outdoor use
⬆ Flush / Inverted Mount
The motor can be installed upside down for a fully flush floor finish, allowing vehicle access to the turntable from all sides.
- No visible motor box or step at the turntable edge
- Vehicle access from any direction
- Suited to showrooms and multi-access driveways
- Same 550W motor and waterproof inverter

Site requirements
Reinforced concrete slab
150mm slab with a smooth, flat surface to BS8204 designation SR1, held to a tolerance of ±3mm.
No standing water
The site must have suitable drainage and not be liable to flooding. Below-ground or low-lying areas need drainage installed to keep the turntable and motor clear of standing water.
1m of clear space
At least 1m of clear space is required around the turntable for safety, with a clear line of sight for the operator during rotation.
Within 1m of the inverter
A 230V, 6A, single-phase supply needs to be installed within 1m of the motor inverter.
What we need from you
Getting ready for your survey
Most installations run smoothly with a little preparation. Ahead of your site survey, it helps if we can confirm:
- The make and length of the largest vehicle that will use the turntable
- Whether you'd prefer a standard or flush/inverted motor mount
- Access to a 230V, 6A supply within 1m of the installation area
- Whether the site is liable to flooding or has standing water
On installation day, our engineers pour and prepare the concrete base, secure the turntable using concrete ground anchors, fit the motor and PMC controls, and run a full rotation test. With two installers on site, most jobs are completed in under a day.
Every installation includes a full warranty and access to UK-based service and support for the lifetime of your ownership.
